Accessibility

Last updated 13 October 2026

Mosspatch is for people who find starting things hard. If the site or the app gets in your way, it's failing at its one job. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

On this website

  • Every page works with a keyboard, and you can always see where you are.
  • A "Skip to content" link takes you past the menu.
  • Every update to the site runs a contrast check on each text and background colour pair.
  • The site follows your device's light or dark setting.
  • If you've turned on Reduce Motion, the site switches its animations off.
  • Nothing flashes, and nothing plays sound unless you start it.
  • You can zoom text without losing any content.
  • We write in plain English.

In the app

The app is in beta. These are the rules it's being built to:

  • Reduce Motion is respected everywhere, including the patch.
  • Text follows your iPhone's text size setting.
  • Every button and control has a label VoiceOver can read.
  • Nothing has to be done in a hurry. Timers only run when you start them.
  • Colour is never the only way something is shown.

What we know isn't right yet

We don't know of any barriers on this site today. The app is still being built, and testers will find things we've missed. We'll list known problems here as they come up.

Tell us when something gets in your way

Email support@mosspatch.co.uk. It helps to tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use. If you can't use part of the site, we'll get you the information another way.
