One loop, built around the start.

Most planners are built around the list. Mosspatch is built around the moment you begin: a plan small enough to make at night, a first step small enough to take in the morning, and something that grows every time you do.

Plan tonight. Start tomorrow. Watch something grow.

  1. Plan tonight

Two minutes before bed. See what you got done, move anything left to tomorrow or let it go, and pick the one thing you'll be held to.

The Plan tomorrow screen: Wednesday's plan, with 'Take the car in' as the one thing to be held to and tasks grouped by effort.
  2. Start small

Tap Start and Mosspatch gives you one step and a ten-minute clock. Stop whenever you like. The start already counts.

The Focus screen: a circular ten-minute clock, the current step written large, and the remaining steps below.
  3. Watch it grow

Your first start each day adds a tile to your moss patch. Every start after that helps a tile grow. Nothing ever dies back.

The growth moment: 'A new tile.' over a small isometric moss patch with a lantern, and a Place it button.
Help, I'm stuck

Tell it what's in the way. Get one step.

No chatbot, no forty-item list. Say what the thing is, tap what's stopping you, and Mosspatch gives you a single first step you could do in the next ten minutes.

Try it. What's stopping you from tidy the spare room?

These are examples we wrote. In the app, Mosspatch suggests a step for your own task, and you can always type your own instead.

Step 1 · about 5 minutes

Pick up everything that belongs in another room and put it in one bag.

Built for the bad days

Made for the weeks that go sideways.

  • Nothing tells you you're behind.

No red badges, no pile-up of yesterday's tasks waiting to tell you off.

  • Move it or let it go.

Every evening, anything left over goes to tomorrow or gets removed. Either is fine.

  • A gap is never mentioned.

Miss a week and come back. Your patch is exactly as green as you left it.

  • One thing done is a good day.

If the only thing you did was the thing you were held to, Mosspatch counts that as a good day.

Start the thing you've been putting off.
